WEEK 4 LESSON: July 27, 2025

WEEK 4 LESSON: July 27, 2025

  • G2K: God gives us more than we can imagine.

  • Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:10 - “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

  • Bible Lesson: Elisha And Naaman: 2 Kings 5:1–14; Luke 11:1–13

WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught the kids that God gives us more than we could ever imagine—even when it doesn’t always look the way we expect. Because God is good and loving, we can trust Him to give us exactly what we need, even if it’s different from what we asked for. To reinforce this lesson, use this activity.

Instructions: For this activity, you’ll need card stock or paper, pencils or crayons, cups, dish detergent, water, food coloring, and straws. Follow these directions to set up and create soap bubble paint. Have your child write the Good To Know on a piece of card stock or paper. Then, they can create their own bubble paint and place the Good To Know paper on top of the bubbles to create cool bubbly designs.

These soap bubbles remind us how Naaman was fully healed by God when he followed Elisha’s simple instructions about dipping himself in the river. God gives us more than we imagine!

FAMILY TIME: Use these questions to start a conversation with your children about this week’s lesson.

  • Read the prayer Jesus taught his friends in Luke 11. What words do you use when you pray?

  • What are some things you need? What are some things others you know need?

  • What is one way God has given you more than you can imagine?
