WEEK 4 LESSON: May 25, 2025
G2K: We can share the good news!
Memory Verse: Proverbs 16:9 - “In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
Bible Lesson: Paul in Macedonia: Acts 16:6–15; Matthew 28:18–20
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught the kids that we can share the Good News! The good news about Jesus is so powerful that once someone receives it, they can’t help but want to pass it on to someone else. So when we share the good news with even just one person, that good news could reach so many more people. To reinforce this lesson, use this activity.
Instructions: In the service today, each child was given a D.I.Y. 24 Piece Blank Jigsaw Puzzle. Have each of your children write the name of someone they want to share the good news with. On the left-hand side, write or draw a message to them. On the front, have them decorate their puzzle postcard. What a fun way to share the good news!
We shouldn’t be shy about the truth of Jesus. When we deliver these postcards, we share the best news ever. Deliver them proudly! We can share the good news.
FAMILY TIME: Use these questions to start a conversation with your children about this week’s lesson.
Read Matthew 28:20. What promise does Jesus give at the end of this passage? Why is this good news to you?
Who are some people you can tell this good news to?
Can you share the good news without using words? How?
