WEEK 5 LESSON: March 29, 2026
WEEK 5 LESSON: March 29, 2026
G2K: I’m invited to worship Jesus.
Memory Verse: John 1:12
Bible Lesson: Jesus Enters Jerusalem: Matthew 21:1–11; Psalm 118:19–29
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught that we’re invited to worship Jesus! We heard about how people celebrated Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey, shouting praises, and laying down palm branches to worship him as their king. The people were so happy to see Jesus enter the city that they waved palm branches and shouted "Hosanna!" How do you think we would welcome and celebrate Jesus today? Jesus deserves our worship not just for what he’s done but for who he is. I'm so excited that I’m invited to worship Jesus and so are you!
Weekly Challenge Instructions: To reinforce this lesson; We are going to fill this space with confetti to help us remember that worship begins with joy because Jesus is near. Distribute cardboard tubes and balloons to your kids. Knot the deflated balloon, then cut the neck off and stretch the open end over one end of a cardboard tube, securing it with tape or a rubber band. Decorate the tube with colorful paper or stickers. Fill the tube with confetti or mini pom-poms. Pull back on the balloon’s tied end, aim up, and release to pop the confetti! Click here to see more detailed instructions.
