WEEK 1 LESSON: May 4, 2025
WEEK 1 LESSON: May 4, 2025
G2K: We can follow Jesus!
Memory Verse: Proverbs 16:9 - “In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
Bible Lesson: Saul on the Road to Damascus: Acts 9:1-20; 1 Corinthians 15:1-9
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught the kids that we can follow Jesus! When Jesus calls us to follow, he doesn’t just leave us in the dark. He shows us the way and even points us to people who can help us along the way. That’s why we can follow Jesus. To reinforce this lesson, use this activity.
Instructions: For this activity, you’ll need graph paper, pencils, erasers, and colored pencils. Have you kids create their own mazes on graph paper like this. You can have your children swap and solve each other’s mazes to add a little more fun.
A maze is not a straight line from start to finish. There are random turns and dead ends where you can get stuck. But that doesn’t mean the answer isn’t there, right? Following Jesus can be filled with challenges, too. But we can follow Jesus anyway, knowing that he leads the way and always helps us down the right path.
FAMILY TIME: Use these questions to start a conversation with your children about this week’s lesson.
Read 1 Corinthians 15:9. Why did Saul (Paul) think he was the “least of the apostles?”
