WEEK 2 LESSON: April 12, 2026
WEEK 2 LESSON: April 12, 2026
G2K: The Bible tells us Jesus loves us.
Memory Verse: Romans 5:8
Bible Lesson: Jesus Appears to the Disciples: John 20:19–31; Mark 14:12–26
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught that the Bible tells us Jesus loves us, and the clues are all around! Some mysteries feel impossible to solve until the answer is revealed in an unimaginable way. We can inspect our lives closely and shine a light on all the ways Jesus shows his love to us.
Weekly Challenge Instructions: To reinforce this lesson, use this activity; Give each child a sheet protector with a white paper or coloring page inside. Have them use a black permanent marker to trace the coloring page or draw their own image that connects to today’s Bible story or Good to Know. Next, give them a copy of the flashlight handout for them to cut out. Swap the white paper in the sheet protector for black paper, then show them how to slide the flashlight into the sheet protector to “shine” light and reveal their picture. FAMILY TIME: Use these questions to start a conversation with your children about this week’s lesson.
