WEEK 3 LESSON: August 16, 2026
WEEK 3 LESSON: August 16, 2026
G2K: Jesus knows us.
Memory Verse: John 14:6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Bible Lesson: Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael: John 1:43-51; Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, your child learned what it means for Jesus to know us. As a family, you can create a Known by Jesus Heart Pocket, a simple craft that reminds us of an incredible truth: Jesus knows us completely and loves us deeply. As your child fills the heart pocket with personal notes about their thoughts, feelings, favorite things, and prayers, they'll discover that nothing about them is hidden from Jesus. Throughout the week, pull out one note each day, read it together, and celebrate that Jesus already knows every part of our lives and cares for us with perfect love. Use this activity as a meaningful way to start conversations, pray together, and remember that Jesus knows us, and we can trust Him.
