WEEK 3 LESSON: June 21, 2026
WEEK 3 LESSON: June 21, 2026
G2K: God made a plan to save us.
Memory Verse: Psalm 24:1 - “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
Bible Lesson: Adam and Eve Genesis - 2:15–17, 3:1–15; Romans 6:1–11
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week, we taught that God made a plan to save us. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve chose to believe the serpent’s lies instead of trusting God’s truth. Their sin separated them from God, but it didn’t stop God’s love for them. From the very beginning, God already had a rescue plan. He continued to care for His people and, in His perfect timing, sent Jesus to make a way for us to be connected to God forever. No matter what mistakes we make, we can trust that God’s plan to save us has always been—and always will be—through Jesus.
Weekly Challenge Instructions: To reinforce this lesson at home; Gather a few recycled items such as paper coffee cups, sleeves, lids, brown paper bags, egg cartons, newspaper, or paper straws and invite your child to create a tree inspired by the Garden of Eden. As they build, talk about how one choice in the garden changed the world, but God already had a plan to rescue us. Encourage them to write the Good To Know, “God made a plan to save us,” somewhere on their creation and display it where your family will see it throughout the week. Each time your child looks at their tree, let it serve as a reminder that even when sin entered the world, God never abandoned His people. Instead, He fulfilled His promise by sending Jesus so that we could be forgiven, restored, and have a relationship with Him forever. See a worked example here.
