WEEK 2 LESSON: October 11, 2026
WEEK 2 LESSON: October 11, 2026
G2K: God watches over us.
Memory Verse: Psalm 42:8 - "By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me."
Bible Lesson: Joseph's Life in Egypt Genesis: 39:17-41:40; Psalm 85:8-13
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: Sometimes life feels like a bad dream where nothing goes right. This week, Joseph was taken far from home, thrown in jail, and forgotten—but through it all, God was with him, even in the darkest moments. God helped Joseph understand dreams and gave him a new purpose. No matter what we go through, God watches over us.
Weekly Challenge Instructions: Print the Origami Watch printable on card stock paper. Use four sets of the “watch faces” from the printable and have you child decorate them. Have them attach them to their origami watch using glue dots so they can peel them off and replace them easily. See the instructions for kids to make their own origami watches here. You can simplify this activity by slicing cardboard tubes into wristband cuffs.
Wear this watch on your wrist to remind you that no matter the time of day, God watches over us!
