Bible Lesson: The Israelites Escape Egypt: Exodus 13:17—15:21; Psalm 91
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: Some adventures feel like there’s no way out—but God always makes a way. This week, it looks like the Israelites are trapped. But Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt, and God parts the Red Sea so they can escape safely. Even when things look impossible, God leads us to safety.
Weekly Challenge Instructions: This week, we’re making a Jungle Safety Kit. Print the printable double-sided along the short edge and fold it in half. Have your child fill it out with ways God leads them to safety. Help them think about all the ways God has been leading us to safety by completing each of these sentences: The people who keep me safe are... One place where I always feel safe is... I can help others feel safe by...
Put this "safety kit" in a safe place that you can access easily. Whenever you need it, retrieve it and read these words out loud. God is with you, loves you, and wants you to be safe!
